Position Summary
The primary function of the VP, Operations is to oversee mortgage operations including disclosure desk, set up, processing, underwriting and closing. Underwriting Manager and Operations Manager will report to this position.
This position will work with VP Compliance to ensure all operational procedures are in full regulatory compliance. This position will work with Post Closing dept to ensure operational procedures fulfill agency and investor guidelines.
This position will be part of the ULC Executive team.

This position supervises all operations staff
This position could supervise post-closing staff, if necessary.

Requires the ability to bend, lift 1-15 pounds, reach, see, stand, sit, walk, hear, type and talk. The primary work location is an office setting with low to moderate noise level.

Position Summary

This position will work with VP Compliance to ensure all operational procedures are in full regulatory compliance. This position will work with Post Closing dept to ensure operational procedures fulfill agency and investor guidelines.
This position will be part of the ULC Executive team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee entire operational processes from loan submission to loan closing
- Insure investor and agency adherence on all loans for salability purposes
- Work in coordination with complaince department to establish, acceptable processes and compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines.
- Assist processors and underwriters with file analysis, when necessary.
- Work with IT team regarding Encompass needs and requirement changes.
- Maintain quality and production standards as set forth by management.
- Effectively communicate, orally, in writing, and via email, the decisions reached as to maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Assist with Eliant (customer service) standards for processors
- Work to ensure timely closings
- Project an image of professionalism through demeanor and appearance while acting with integrity and honesty.
- Strive for teamwork and cooperation and actively participate in goals for self-improvement.
This position supervises all operations staff

Position Qualifications
- 4-year college degree preferred
- 20+ years of leading operations
- Builder affiliated experience preferred
- Must have working knowledge of Encompass or other LOS systems
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Substantial Conventional and Government processing and underwriting experience.
- Superior knowledge of and experience with property and credit underwriting requirements of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA, as well as other loan programs and private mortgage insurance companies
Base Salary: The compensation range for this position is between $170,000 and $190,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday with an opportunity for monthly or quarterly bonuses.
